However, when she was aged 21, Handler decided to pursue stand-up comedy as a full-time profession as she was able to discover her storytelling talents. Her career began with an acting gig in the cast that included all females in the Oxygen channel's reality-TV series Girls behaving badly. The show was comprised of hidden cameras and funny comedy.
