Rena Sofer
Rena Sherel, born on December 2nd, 1968 was an American actress. She is well-known for her roles in daytime TV, episodic guest appearances and made-for-television movies. Sofer was given a Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her performance as Lois Cerullo on the soap show General Hospital. She played the role Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap show The Bold and the Beautiful, from 2013 to 2022.
Childhood and early life
Sofer was the daughter Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) She was an Orthodox rabbi and Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau).
She moved with her father and brother David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in the year 1970. They lived in Western Pennsylvania when Sofer was five years old. They resided in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father was the director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She later attended the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is co-educational Modern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer was born in North Bergen where her father was the rabbi at synagogue Temple Beth El. Sofer was a graduate of North Bergen High School and later went to Montclair State College.
Career
Television during the daytime
Lois Marie Cerullo was the first Lois Marie Cerullo that Sofer played on General Hospital. Her first appearance was in 1993 as the manager of a band. Her first appearance was in the role of Rocky McKenzie in the 1988-91 daytime soap show Loving.
